Eyelash Extension Aftercare

Good aftercare helps your lash extensions look their best for as long as possible. Retention still varies from person to person, but these general habits go a long way.

Keep lashes dry for the first few hours

Avoid water, steam and sweat right after your appointment so the bonding agent has time to fully set.

Skip oil-based products near the eyes

Oil-based cleansers, makeup removers and moisturizers can weaken the bond and shorten retention.

Brush lashes gently each day

A clean spoolie brush helps keep extensions separated and looking neat between appointments.

Avoid rubbing or pulling at your lashes

Sleeping face-down, rubbing your eyes, or using a lash curler on extensions can cause them to fall out earlier than expected.

Schedule fills before lashes look sparse

Fill timing depends on your natural lash cycle — message or call Judy for a recommendation personalized to you.
